Tottenham midfielder Christian Eriksen has become one of Manchester United priorities for the summer transfer window.

Spurs have been trying to persuade Eriksen to a new deal for several months, but in no vain so far. Earning only 80 thousand pounds a week, the Dane inexorably approaches the final 12 months of his contract.

According to the Daily Mirror, Christian isn’t in a hurry to make a decision about his future and is ready to consider various options. Eriksen sees a very attractive opportunity to pursue his career at Real Madrid, but Eden Hazard and Paul Pogba are the main priorities for the Royal Club.

According to the publication, Spurs leadership is increasingly confident that Christian won’t sign a new contract. And this can open the way for the 27-year-old midfielder’s transfer to United.

The Red Devils’ head coach, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, has already discussed Eriksen’s candidacy with Executive Director Ed Woodward and given his go-ahead to the start of negotiations. At Old Trafford, Christian hopes to receive a salary up to £250,000 a week.
