Chievo loaned Chelsea’s troublemaker Piazon

Chelsea midfielder Lucas Piazon will continue his career in the Italian Serie A. Chievo loaned the 25-year-old Brazilian until the end of the season.

Piazon’s contract with Chelsea is calculated until the end of June 2019. Previously, he played on loan at Malaga, Vitesse, Eintracht Frankfurt, Reading and Fulham.

The midfielder hasn’t played a single match in the current season. Chievo are the last team in Serie A standings after the 21st round.

Recall, Piazon moved to Chelsea from Sao Paulo in 2012, being a youngster. Football experts predicted a great future to Lucas and compared him with Kaka.

Nevertheless, the midfielder couldn’t justify the hopes placed on him. Constant problems with regime and discipline were making absolutely all Chelsea managers loan the young player to other clubs. In the end, it reached the point that the player was accused of sexual harassment. The conflict was resolved, but the player’s reputation was hopelessly flawed.
