Chelsea won’t let Hazard go to Real because of transfer ban
The Belgian’s transfer to Madrid may not happen.
Chelsea won’t let the team leader, Eden Hazard, go in the summer, because of the transfer ban imposed earlier by FIFA, Marca reports.
It is known that Real Madrid want to buy the Belgian winger. In addition, the footballer himself has repeatedly stated his desire to become Los Blancos’ player.
However, Chelsea won’t sell Hazard in the circumstances when the Blues won’t able to find a replacement for the winger.
Moreover, one of prerequisites for the transfer was midfielder Mateo Kovacic, who was supposed to become part of the deal regarding the Belgian. It is impossible now because of the transfer ban – Mateo can’t become the Blues’ player.
Recall, Hazard’s current agreement with the club expires in 2020. The Londoners said earlier that they intended to appeal FIFA’s decision.
