Chelsea played a draw against Eintracht in the semi-final match of the Europa League in Frankfurt.

Thus, the London club does not lose sixteen matches in a row within the Europa League, this is a new tournament record. GracenoteLive reported about it.

Previously, the former record of 15 matches belonged to Atletico Madrid (2011/12).

The return semi-final will be held at Stamford Bridge in a week, on May 9.

Both sides are fourth in their domestic leagues, with the UEL offering an alternative route to next season’s Champions League.

The Pensioners mentor Maurizio Sarri left Eden Hazard on the bench until the 62nd minute, preferring to give him a rest for upcoming important EPL games.
