Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech said that the Europa League’s triumph would be an ideal scenario for him to complete his playing career.

Recall that last month 36-year-old Cech officially announced that he would hang up his glovesat the end of the current season

Petr began that season as the Gunners’ first number, but then got injured. When he returned to service, he found out that the team’s summer newcomer Bernd Leno firmly staked a place in the first eleven.

Now Cech is forced to be content with practice in minor tournaments, including the Europa League, where Arsenal will play the 1/16 finals first-leg against BATE on Thursday night.

Petr would love to win this trophy again, which he already won in 2013 with Chelsea.
