At a press conference after the 24th round home match against Bordeaux (1:0) in Ligue 1, PSG head coach Thomas Tuchel said that striker Edinson Cavani and midfielder Marco Verratti could miss the upcoming Champions League last 16 first leg against Manchester United.

Verratti missed several PSG matches due to his left leg’s ankle sprainbut played 59 minutes against Bordeaux.

Cavani suffered hip damage in yesterday’s meeting. The forward finished the first half, but striker Kylian Mbappe came out instead of him after the break.

Recall that PSG’s leader Neymar will definitely miss both games with Manchester United. The forward continues to recover after suffering a fractured fifth metatarsal in his right foot.

The Champions League 1/8 finals match United – PSG will be held in Manchester on February 12. The teams will play the return game in Paris on March 6.
