Best Belgian performer of 2018 became known

The results of voting for the title of the best Belgian player in 2018 have become known, according to the official Twitter of the Belgium national team.

According to the results of the poll, which fans took part in, attacker Eden Hazard was recognized as the best. Chelsea’s forward was preferred by almost 15 000 users.

Axel Witsel took second place in the voting (3.800 votes), playing for Borussia Dortmund. Kevin de Bruyne finished third (Manchester City), who got more than 2,000 votes.

The Belgium national team in 2018 managed to win bronze medals at the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia. The Devils failed to get into the playoffs, finishing second in the group with Switzerland and Iceland in the UEFA Nations League.
