Bernardo Silva was named Player of the Year at Man City

Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva was voted the best player of his team in the 2018/19 season.

Bernardo was the team’s key player in the season that ended in triumph for the Citizens, adding speed and ingenuity to his team’s attacks. Silva scored 13 goals and gave 9 assists in all tournaments.

Fans appreciated the game of the 24-year-old Portuguese, who helped City to win the Premier League title, the FA Cup and the League Cup. 48 percent of 62 thousand voters cast their preference for Bernardo.

In the fight for this award, Silva overtook Raheem Sterling and Sergio Aguero, who claim the award in the final shortlist.

We add, one more prize – for the best goal of the season – was received by Vincent Kompany. The defender, who will leave City in the next few days, was awarded for his brilliant long-range blow in the match against Leicester earlier this month.
