Benzema became Madrid’s sixth-highest goalscorer

Real Madrid beat Girona (1:3) in the Copa del Rey quarterfinals and managed to reach the next round of the tournament.

The double was scored by French striker Karim Benzema. Those goals became the 208th and 209th for him.

Thus, Benzema surpassed Hugo Sanchez (208 goals for Real) in the list of the best scorers in Los Blancos’ history and currently ranks sixth.

In order to enter the top five, Benzema is obliged to score 34 more goals and then he will beat legendary Ferenc Puskas (242 goals).

Cristiano Ronaldo (450 goals)
Raul (323 goals)
Alfredo Di Stéfano (307 goals)
Santillana (290 goals)
Ferenc Puskás (242 goals).
