Hector Bellerin will miss from six to nine months after a knee ligament injury.

Arsenal‘s defender Hector tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his knee in a game with Chelsea and will miss the rest of the season.

The Spaniard successfully underwent surgery on his knee and shared his joy on social networks.

“Surgery = success. Big thank you to all the doctors and physios who worked so hard to get me ready for surgery and through it with such ease,” he wrote on Twitter.

The right back is expected to miss from six to nine months. This season, Bellerin took part in 18 matches, giving four assists.

Recall that Bellerin sustained this injury in the EPL match against Chelsea (2:0) a week ago. Hector tried to reach the ball and didn’t come into contact with any of the opponents.
