Bayern will argue with Inter for Rakitic
Bayern Munich entered the race for Barcelona’s midfielder Ivan Rakitic, the Catalan edition of Sport reports.
Earlier, Inter were the favorites to sign the 30-year-old Croat. Gazzetta dello Sport assured that the parties even had come to a common decision about the price tag of the vice-world champion, that was supposed to be 40 million euros.
However, Munich’s mentor Niko Kovac really wants to see Rakitic at Allianz Arena, with whom they worked together in the national team. The situation is also monitored by PSG.
Rakitic’s contract with Barça is calculated until 2021. Earlier, the midfielder requested a salary increase, which the club’s management is not ready to take. The Croat is expected to leave Camp Nou just this summer.
