Bayern Munich and the Germany national team defender Mats Hummels can continue his career in the Premier League, Goal.com reports.

According to the source, the 30-year-old German footballer is the priority transfer goal of Chelsea’s head coach Maurizio Sarri. It is noted that Chelsea made a request, and Bayern Munich replied that they were ready to sell the defender for £30 million (about €33 million).

Hummels moved to Bayern from Borussia Dortmund in 2016. The German defender has taken part in 9 matches for Munich in this season, giving one assist.

After 20 rounds, Chelsea have 43 points and are occupying 4th place in the Premier League standings.
