Chelsea forward Michy Batshuayi can continue his career in France.

Although the Belgian spent 13 of the 15 matches in La Liga, in most of them he went on the field as a substitute, having a scored just one goal.

According to Le Phoceen, Michy received an offer from Marseille and is ready to move to this club, however, under one condition – his salary shouldn’t be cut in any way. Olympique, in turn, are trying to persuade Batshuayi to temper his financial appetites.

Michy had been playing for Marseille from 2014 to 2016, after that he moved to Chelsea. The London club still owns his contract. However, the Belgian failed to gain a foothold in London. Last winter he went on loan to Borussia Dortmund after the German team sold Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to Arsenal. The player started very well in Dortmund, but eventually went down again at the end of the season and returned to Chelsea.

The player went on loan again last summer. Valencia were ready to give a chance to the Belgian that time.
