Chelsea defender Cesar Azpilicueta apologized for his team’s failed performance in the Premier League away game against Manchester City.

Having already conceded four goals within the first 25 minutes of the match at Etihad, the Blues finally suffered their hardest Premier League defeat in history – 6:0.

Azpilicueta admits that there can be no excuse for such a game and such a result. However, Cesar finds it difficult to explain this failure.

The defender admitted that it was one of the worst evenings in his career. The first five minutes went well, but then City scored and something went wrong. The team missed too many goals and that was unacceptable.

Chelsea were able to beat City at Stamford Bridge due to the fact that they were united and didn’t make a single mistake. They failed to play like that at Etihad. The team understood that it would be hard, but a 6:0 score was a complete disappointment. Cesar apologized to the fans since such results are unacceptable.
