Atletico Madrid fans asked the club management to remove former Atletico goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois’ 100 game plaque from the Estadio Wanda Metropolitano. It is reported by AS.

According to the source, initially this petition was published by one of the fans on Change.org, and then numerous many fan clubs joined it.

“We have joined the offer to remove the plaque in honor of Courtois from the stadium because of disrespect for Atletico fans.

“ Memorial plaques are intended for Atletico legends representing the values of the club and its fans. This player, with his attitude, does not deserve such honor,” the statement of the international union of Atletico fans said.
