Unai Emery targeted at Lille’s striker to replace Danny Welbeck. The Englishman’s contract expires next summer.

Nevertheless, according to rumors, Arsenal may miss the young star as Barcelona have included the player in their shortlist of 7 people, one of whom would be called on to replace Luis Suarez.

Blaugranas’ manager Ernesto Valverde compiled this list and included Nicolas Pepe in it. The attacker has played 18 matches for Lille in Ligue 1 this season, having scored 12 goals.

The desire to find a substitute for Suarez is explained with the fact that the Uruguayan will turn 32 next month and the club wants to be prepared for life without the striker.

In addition to Pepe, the list also includes Timo Werner (RB Leipzig), Casper Dolberg (Ajax), Maxi Gomez (Celta), Krzysztof Piatek (Genoa), Luka Jovic (loan at Eintracht, owned by Benfica) and Andre Silva (loan at Sevilla, belongs to AC Milan).
