Arsenal’s defender Rob Holding will receive a new contract, despite a serious injury.

Recall, Holding is out of the game since December, when he suffered a ruptured cruciate ligament in his left knee. Rob will definitely miss not only the rest of this season, but also the beginning of the next one.

However, before his injury, the 23-year-old Englishman looked very good, having won a place in the plans of mentor Unai Emery for future.

Now, according to the Daily Mirror, Emery wants to show that he counts on Holding in the long run. Rob will receive a new agreement, although he signed his current – until 2023 – only at the end of last season.
