Arsenal are ready to go back and get Sevilla midfielder Ever Banega at the end of this season.

The Gunners’ head coach Unai Emery is a big fan of the 30-year-old Argentine, with whom he has already worked twice – not only at Sevilla, but also at Valencia.

According to the Daily Mirror, Banega was Emery’s number one goal as Aaron Ramsey’s substitute from the very beginning, but Unai simply had no opportunity to reunite with Ever in January, since Arsenal had no money to spend in the middle of the season.

However, Emery is ready to come back for Banega in the coming summer. Still, Unai has to convince the bosses of his club that £17 million is a good investment in the player who will turn 31 in June.

Also, Arsenal hope to acquire a left-back and a winger in the coming summer. Denis Suarez can become the last. The Gunners loaned the midfielder from Barcelona in January with £18 million buy-out option.
