The former player of Atletico and Barcelona plunged into a new scandal.

Prosecutors in Turkey have requested 12.5 years in prison for Arda Turan, who playes at Istanbul Basaksehir on loan from Barcelona now. That was reported by Football Espana.

The Turkish footballer recently became a participant in a violent conflict in a nightclub, as a result of which one of Turan’s victims was left with a broken nose. The victim also claimed that the player threatened him with a pistol.

In October, Istanbul Basaksehir fined the player for €370 thousand for violating ethical norms.

Arda was also banned for 16 matches in May of 2018 after hitting the linesman.
