Anthony Lopes suspended his performances for the Portugal national team
The goalkeeper decided to focus on performances for Lyon.
Portugal international Anthony Lopes, who became the champion of Europe in 2016, decided to suspend his performances for the national team.
“I put this question on hold, because I want to enjoy my family, and also focus on my father’s role and play for Lyon,” Mundo Deportivo quoted the Portuguese.
“I made this decision after discussion with the coach after the World Cup. This is my own choice.”
Debuting in a friendly match against the national team of Cape Verde (0:2) in 2015, Lopes has played 7 matches for his national team.
Recall that his team will play against Barcelona in the UCL.
