Juventus’ head coach Massimiliano Allegri admitted that he was disappointed with Cristiano Ronaldo’s second place in the voting for the Golden Ball. Recall, Cristiano’s former partner at Real Madrid, Luka Modric, became the owner of the award in 2018.

Allegri admitted that he was very surprised by Ronaldo’s second place, given what he achieved last season. As for the 2018 World Cup, the Portugal national team and Cristiano personally showed their maximum in Russia and it was also a great game.

Nevertheless, the Italian specialist was glad that Cristiano received a portion of a new motivation and was eager to win the Golden Ball together with Juventus the next year.

Recall, Cristiano’s sisters spoke very sharply about the defeat of their brother in the Golden Ball voting. One of them said that football became full of rotten people, the mafia and dirty money.
