Juventus’ defender Alex Sandro will miss the Champions League Round of 16 second leg against Atletico Madrid.

Alex Sandro was booked in Wednesday’s match against Atletico, what ended with a defeat for the Old Lady 0:2.

That yellow card was the third one in the current Champions League draw for the Brazilian.

Thus, Alex Sandro will miss the second leg against Atletico in Turin.

Note that Diego Costa and Thomas Partey will not also be able to participate in the return match because of picking up too much yellow cards.

Recall, a few months ago Alex Sandro extended his contract with the Old Lady until 2023.

Sandro has been playing for the Bianconeri since 2015. Previously, the football player defended the colors of Porto, Santos, Deportivo Maldonado and Atletico Paranaense.
