Tottenham defender Toby Alderweireld announced his plans to return to Ajax.

The night before, Alderweireld helped Spurs to make an outstanding comeback in Amsterdam, snatching a 2:3 victory over Ajax, and win a ticket to the Champions League final.

The Champions League final against Liverpool on June 1 could become Toby’s last match for Tottenham because the defender will be available for transfer for 25 million pounds in the coming summer.

The 30-year-old Belgian is unlikely to immediately return to Ajax, for which he played almost 200 matches earlier in his career, but is thinking about this in the future.

According to Toby, he doesn’t want to make loud statements, but his return to Ajax is definitely in his plans.

Toby admitted that he had a great time in Amsterdam, winning three titles. He was absolutely happy at Ajax and his family fully shared his emotions.
