Barcelona defender Jordi Alba said that he and his team-mates would be happy to accept Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata.

The other day there were rumors in the Spanish media that Morata could become an unexpected transfer target for the LaLiga’s champions in January. According to rumors, Barcelona aren’t ready to immediately buy the former Real Madrid player but can loan him until the end of the season, with subsequent redemption.

The English edition, the Daily Mirror, adds that the Blues are open to parting with the 26-year-old Spaniard, whose agent is already in contact with Barcelona, and Alba would be happy to see this transfer come alive.

The defender admitted that he considered Morata a top-level player. Any team in the world wouldn’t refuse to have such an attacker at their disposal. All the people at Barcelona would be happy to see him in the team. Nevertheless, such decisions, as with any other player, are made by the club management only.
