AC Milan are interested in Morata

Alvaro Morata may return to Italy. Milan were interested in acquiring the Spaniard after the team decided not to buy-out Gonzalo Higuain.

It is obvious to everyone in England that 26-year-old Morata doesn’t live up to expectations and cannot cope with physical activity in the Premier League. The attacker has struggled since his £58million move last summer.

Milan are ready to shelter Alvaro and give him an opportunity to leave Stamford Bridge. However, Gattuso’s team is unlikely to carry out the transfer in the winter as it suffers from the ban on transfers according to the rules of the financial fair play. Milan can turn to Maurizio Sarri only in the summer.

Morata spent 2 good years in Italy at Juventus, having scored 27 goals in 93 matches. After that, he returned to Real Madrid for a year only and then left for Chelsea last summer.
